Youth Development

The annual football tournament for all the primary schools in Awkuzu starts in October, with school-by-school competitions culminating in the finals on the 29th of December every year. This tournament is ably coordinated by the National Association of Awkuzu Students (NAAS). The MVP, Best Goalkeeper and Highest Goal Scorer enter the Scholarship Fund. The winning school represents the town in the LGA schools' competitions. Prices and awards are given to participants
